I Respect You Always........

Guru Govind dono khade kake lagu paay
Balihari Guru aapki Govind diyo batay

I learnt this doha during my school days and was really very much inspired after learning its meaning which says,

"When both Guru and God appear before you, you have a confusion in mind to touch whose feet first, then God says 'Guru is the one who had shown a student the path to realize God, Guru is the starting point for the enlightenment of a student, hence Guru is dearer to a student. So, it has to be Guru's feet first'".

After learning this, I was always in search of such Guru who will become more than God for me. Who shows me the right path. And luckily, I found my Guru...

My Guru taught me so much in LIFE, about LIFE. Showed me a path to follow. Always inspired me, clarified all my doubts, made me believe in God.

Chachu.. I always thank you for everything you have done for me... I also Thank God for giving me a person like you as my Guru...

I am sorry for the way I don't openly tell all these in front of a crowd.. I have a lot of respect towards you Chachu... Somehow my mind becomes blank during that time... I am really very very sorry Chachu..... I promise, I will surely overcome this very soon...

Interpretation of Leadership by my Guruji.. 111030

Interpretation of Leadership by my Guruji.. 111030

Learnt the interpretation of Leadership in a different style from my Guruji…

From my childhood, I heard that Lion is the King of Jungle, but had never thought why it is called as the King, while there are other animals like Elephant, Rhinoceros etc., which are much more powerful than Lion.

But today My Guruji… raised that question and answered it in the form of a Sloka as follows:

“Na Abhisheko, Na Samskaraha; Simhasya kriyate vanae
Vikramarjita satvasya svayameva mrugendrata”

Which means

Na Abhisheko, Na Samskarah – There is no abhisheka or samskarah i.e., there is no official coronation ceremony held

Simhasya Kriyate Vanae- for declaring the Lion as the King of Jungle.

Vikramarjita satvasya – because of his attributes, virtues and heroic deeds

svayameva mrugendrata – He declared himself as the King, and none could oppose him because of his powerful nature…

Similarly, one should never “demand” a goal, and must try to “earn” the goal through his/her own efforts and virtues. It is through hard work, and heroic actions one should declare himself as a leader and must work for the betterment of the society.

Swayam Eva Mrugendrata – A person could earn prominence
only through his virtues, strengths, sacrifices and efforts.
Nobody's approval is needed

GURUJI.... I salute u....

On the occasion of the auspicious Guru Purnima, I want to thank my Guruji for being with me always...

When we take a close look at the meaning of "Guru"... According to Advayataraka Upanishad...

The syllable gu means "shadows"
The syllable ru, he who disperses them,
Because of the power to disperse darkness
the guru is thus named.

Hence a Guru is "one who dispels darkness of ignorance", and exactly this is what my Guruji does...

I have learnt many things from many teachers since my childhood, and I respect each one of them.. But I don't call all of them as my Gurus, as there are some differences between a teacher/professor and a Guru...

In a day a teacher might teach us only for a specific period, whereas a Guru is one who teaches us every moment... He is with in us always...

A teacher teaches through words, whereas a Guru teaches us through his experiences, which is beyond words...

A teacher has no concern for the student's personal life, whereas a Guru looks after the student in every facet of his/her life.

A teacher teaches us only a few subjects whereas, a Guru gives us the knowledge which encompasses all subjects..

A teacher is planned most of the times, whereas a Guru is spontaneous always..

Since childhood most of us might have recited the sloka

"Guru Brahma Gurur Vishnu
Guru Devo Maheshwara
Guru Saakshat Para Brahma
Tasmai Sree Gurave Namaha"

many times..

which means, "Guru is verily the representative of the Trinty- Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara. He creates, sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of Ignorance, I salute to such a Guru."

And I feel very lucky as I found my Guru with all these qualities...

And hence I salute MY GURU...
