A philosophical Discussion on Truth versus Fact...

My Guruji proves that if one has interest in learning, then, learning is possible around anything and everything...
At this instance I love to give an example...

He even analyzes the difference between two similar words so perfectly and explains to us with such good examples, that we bound love to learn more and more...

I misinterpreted that fact and truth mean the same, till the time I had a discussion with my Guruji...

Once on the way to his college(He is now holding a post as Head Of the Dept of MBA Dept, Aurora College) he sent me a sms(Virtual Learning), the difference between Truth and Fact

The message is as follows:
Fact is temporary and relative.
Truth is permanent and absolute.

Later, that evening we discussed regarding the difference between Truth and Fact over internet(Virtual Learning) in Facebook(We use social Networking Sites for a better purpose i.e., to Learn and Discuss..)
Our Discussion on facebook is as follows:

    • Chachu God a Fact or a Truth ?

    • Yes.... I argued the same with my Papa for a long time... he was not agreeing. He was saying that God is a Faith... u can't take example of God in defining Truth...

    • he is true.
    • truth is the impression..
    • that is what one has as absolute in him.

    • Chachu but as i have faith in God... God is a truth for me right?
    • so truth depends on individual na?
    • like something i may believe it as Truth but others may not

    • truth is definite..
    • but all may not know that..
    • death is definit..
    • eating makes one to survive..
    • survive is fact
    • death is truth.

    • death is a fact right?

    • but none thinks of death ..

    • how could that be truth?

    • death is not fact.. it is truth

    • death is sure to happen...

    • as it is definite / absolute
    • yes..

    • so which is definite is Truth?

    • yes
    • permanent is truth
    • temporary is fact..
    • eating will survive is temporary..

    • So is the feelings which get a fact or a truth?
    • *which we get

    • that is fact..
    • but firm feelings that are tested by time.. that i am aware of death..
    • so death is truth..
    • not feeling..
    • i realized as fact..

    • okay...
    • we have Manas
    • is that a fact
    • or a Truth
    • ?

    • as long as u realize ..
    • and identify with thoughts as manas.. will understand it is truth

    • so could we take Fact as something which we could prove?
    • as we could realize truth... but may not be able to prove it..
Thank you chachu ji..

Before meeting my Guruji, I never ever thought that there could be such great learning even on two words... I am really Loving Learning chachu... This all is due to you...

The main improvement in me through these discussions is confidence.. Yes, I learnt that the Confidence levels increases with knowledge...

If I compare myself before meeting chachu and after meeting him, the Confidence levels in me have increased drastically...

Understanding EKALAVYA from a new Angle...

After hearing to the Dronacharya Ekalavya story, I was really inspired by the devotion of Ekalavya towards his Guru, Dronacharya. Thought Ekalavya could be considered as an Ideal student and hence, while discussing a name for our learning group started by my Guruji, I suggested it could be Dronacharya Ekalavya Mentorship Programme.

One fine day when we were there at his home for a session, my Guruji wrote EFIL on a paper and asked us to identify it. After thinking for a while, we were able to answer it by saying that, it is 'reverse of LIFE'. Then, he asked us to expand EFIL. We tried, but failed... Then my Guruji gave it a creative expansion by saying EFIL could be “Ekalavyas for Future India Leadership”. I was really thrilled after listening to it. From then, our learning group name became EFIL.

Then, I thought he named it as EFIL, by considering Ekalavya to be the best student because of his devotion towards his Guru, because of his determination to learn. But, after few days, I heard a new definition of Ekalavya from my Guruji, when he was explaining it to one of his old students saying “our group is named as EFIL as most of the time the learning is done virtually”. Then, I realized that, yes Ekalavya learnt Dhanurvidya virtually.

Now, coming to our learning part, our learning from our Guruji is a continuous process. It is obvious that meeting every day is not possible, but still our learning doesn't stop. Let it be through online or be it through calls, SMS, all our doubts are cleared perfectly by our Guruji, through his analysis, explanations and examples, which could not be found in any book or over internet.

Hence, our group name exactly defines our learning -- Our learning is beyond classrooms, beyond meetings, but it is a continuous process...

I am really blessed to be your student Chachu... Thank You so much...

Feeling guilty for not being a good student!!

Today(01/11/2011) is a holiday for me on the account of AP Formation Day. In morning, I thought that I will do some coding and experiments with blogging features today. I  took out my laptop from my bag and a book grabbed my attention. The book, Life Made Simple written by my Guruji.  I have two books written by him, one “ Life Made Simple”, which gives answers to most of the questions in Life, the second one is Life of Love, its a poetry book which inspired me a lot. I always carry both the books with me and hence they were in my bag. I finished reading Poetry book few months ago, but read Life Made Simple in bits and pieces by choosing certain topics from the index which I required at certain times.

I kept my laptop a side and took the book Life Made Simple in my hands and started looking at it for some moments, I was lost in thoughts while looking at it.. The very first question which arose in my mind was "Am I really eligible to be called as a student of my Gurji?" The immediate answer my Manas(Mind) gave was "NO".. Yes, true, I am ineligible to be called as his student if I did not even finish reading his book, which motivated many people, and still motivating many around to lead a simple life... The book Life Made Simple has answers for all the questions which arise in the minds of many... I really felt very guilty this day, for my negligence in missing reading such a Great Book...

Now I din't want to waste even a single minute and hence immediately grabbed the book and started reading it from the first page...

It is really an amazing book and has inspired me a lot... Every chapter of this book is a new Lesson to me in Life...Many doesn't know what for they are living.. But after reading this book the perspective towards life would surely change... The REAL Meaning of Life would be understood after reading it.... I could now call this book a good Companion of mine... Being a small child in my childhood I approached my mother for each and every query which I got... In the same manner now I could approach this book with full faith for each and every query which I get in my Life... I am also sure that this could give me an inspiration to overcome any hurdles and move forward in Life...

I am so sorry Chachu....

This book will be my BEST FRIEND FOR LIFETIME....
